• Campfires are allowed in official fireplaces only from April to November. Fuel stoves are allowed at all times

• Collection of firewood in the park is illegal.  Please bring your own.

• All wildlife – plants and animals are protected.

Current access restrictions

The Mt Arapiles ring road which starts at the Gums campground, also accessed via Golf Course Road and travels around the Mount is currently closed due to the damage it received from the floods early this year. Lack of funding is what is holding up repairs.  Despite the road closed signage, people are still continuing to drive on it. This is only further damaging the road and widening it in sections around the ruts. Don’t make this a good reason to close this road for good.  Make the effort and walk the distance.
